Feedback

“I have an autistic student in my classroom that I consider quite a challenge. I introduced the ShoeboxTasks to her last spring and anticipated her being able to independently complete 3 or so by now. I am very pleased to tell you she is completing 11 with very, very few verbal or physical cues. She has amazed me with your tasks. I love them and they have been the answer to a prayer for me.”  Beth, teacher from Kentucky

Variations challenges fixed, rigid behaviors associated with autism by providing the student with the opportunity to see and to use singular objects in a variety of ways. From matching, to inserting, to clasping to threading a bead on a dowel, the student is given three variables for each object. The task is finished when all three sets of objects are in their designated place.
