Feedback

Just wanted to drop a quick "hi" from up north.  This is Mike Walker-used to work with A. at your workshop.  I wanted to let you know that I am so glad to have the ShoeboxTasks in my classroom up here.  I have two severely challanged guys who excel with the tasks and even the more mildly challenged guys request them as special activities.  I ordered all of the second set and the two other classrooms each ordered basic curriculums.  I appreciate all of the help and information I amassed working with you and I am no able to use it daily in my autism support classroom here in Philly.  Hope all is well.  Congrats on the new tasks.....they look awesome.  Mike Walker

Educational CD

TRY IT NOW!

CD-Cover.gifOur Educational CD is bringing another dimension to the application of ShoeboxTasks. Similar to manipulating the original ShoeboxTasks, students can now use a mouse to move a variety of shapes to be matched, stacked, or placed into containers on an interactive screen.

The simple design of ShoeboxTasks Educational CD follows the model of a TEACCH Independent Work Setting, allowing students to easily understand how many pieces they are to move, when they are finished, and what they will do next. The program is designed for the student who needs visually clear, concise, cause and effect connections. By establishing clear beginnings and endings to each selected task, independence becomes a more reasonable goal for the student who might not otherwise be attracted to the computer.

cartorange.gifIn addition to the Independent Work Setting, the CD also includes seven interactive memory games involving matching shapes, colors, letters, numbers; sequencing lights and sounds; and finding the missing parts to two identical pictures.

Teachers have reported positive results with students not normally motivated to use the classroom computer.  And, a computer's mouse can be programmed to lock on an object with one click and release the object with another click, eliminating the need to keep the mouse depressed as it moves across the pad.

Because we value the potential of this interactive CD as an effective introduction to the abstract world of computers, we are lowering the price to one that may be more affordable to schools, therapists, and parents, especially in this time of economic unease.

New Price: $85.00 + S&H
